Intel HEX Initialized ROM

Load a ROM from Intel HEX records. In the site environment, these records are provided as constants in intel_hex_image_pkg.vhd.

Behaviour

• parse Intel HEX records of type 00;
• use the length field, 16-bit address and data bytes;
• ignore the checksum for this exercise;
• initialize a 32 x 8 ROM;
• unspecified addresses hold 0x00;
• reads are combinational.
