For each signed 8-bit input, compute y[n]=x[n]+2x[n-1]+3x[n-2]+2x[n-3]+x[n-4] into signed 16-bit sample_out. valid_out pulses on the result cycle. Inputs without valid_in are ignored. Synchronous reset clears the history.
